Residential Interior Design in Pleasanton & Ruby Hill
Designing for Pleasanton homes
Pleasanton, and Ruby Hill in particular, is home to a distinct kind of client. The estates here carry genuine architectural character — traditional proportions, generous rooms, and materials that were chosen to last. What brings homeowners to Studioayse is usually a gap between the home's potential and how it actually feels to live in.
They have full careers, homes that move quickly, and a clear sense of what they want to come home to. They want spaces that feel like themselves — settled, considered, and built to last.
A full home renovation in Ruby Hill
One of Studioayse's most complete projects began when a family purchased a Ruby Hill estate and found that its interiors — though architecturally strong — were designed for a different kind of life. The renovation covered the kitchen, living and dining areas, home offices, primary bathroom, mudroom, laundry, foyer, and a custom walk-in closet.
A single wall was removed to open the kitchen and living areas. The kitchen became the spatial center — white cabinetry with aged brass hardware, a walnut island, handmade tile, and Newport Brass fixtures chosen for warmth and resilience. The renovation extended through every room, each one given the same close attention to how the household would actually use it.
Two years later, the same clients invited Studioayse back to complete a spa-inspired primary bathroom — an extension of the same sensibility into a more private register.

A primary bathroom in Ruby Hill
The spa bathroom that followed the estate renovation was designed as a genuine sanctuary — a room that supports the beginning and end of every day rather than simply looking resolved. Azul marble, a double shower positioned to capture morning light, and a soaking tub were chosen as much for how they feel to use as for how they photograph.

How Studioayse works
Every project begins with a close observation of how the household actually moves — how people gather, where they decompress, what isn't working. The design follows from that.
Studioayse handles every phase: space planning, material selection, drawings, contractor coordination, and site oversight through installation. For larger renovations in Pleasanton, this structure matters — the number of decisions, trades, and selections involved in a full-scope project can otherwise consume months of a busy schedule.
