Monroe Modern Kitchen │San Jose

This 50’s one-story house had a variety of architectural styles due to the previous remodels. The new owners, as a young family wanted to make the house their own by adding more functional spaces and personal touches in line with their lifestyle. The goal was to redesign the kitchen layout to create a welcoming space for the family and their guests. The windows were added to take full advantage of the morning sun and beautiful backyard view while having breakfast on the kitchen island. The contrasting texture of white oak wood and smooth countertop as well as the dark blue cabinets against white flooring creates a playful yet elegant environment to enjoy as a family.
